Vinyl pressing for the ridiculously good demo tape by Mexico's Inservibles. This band has always reminded me more than a little bit of Rudimentary Peni, and that's even more the case after hearing this demo. While their EP was comparable to the off-putting, hard-to listen-to but still brilliant sound of later Rudi Peni LPs like Cacaphony, this demo reminds me more of the band's first two EPs, when the weirdness was still there, but was fully integrated into a catchy hardcore punk context. Six absolutely brilliant songs, not only dripping with energy but remarkably original in terms of sound and texture. Truly remarkable.
