Even Worse thrash out 8 fast hardcore smashers and could be compared to bands like Limp Wrist and/or DS-13. The F.A. play furious female fronted hardcorepunk that brings bands like Health Hazard to mind. I have a few copies on white vinyl (100 made).

Last Lights frontman Dominic Mallary tragically and abruptly passed away on December 5th, 2008 due to complications with his performance the previous day in Boston, MA. TF! and the surviving members of Last Lights teamed up to release a discography of the band's music and art. 'No Past No Present No Future' includes all of Last Lights previous releases and includes an instrumental track exclusive to this release. 'The Uprising' is the debut effort from punk rock super-group Nations Afire. The Los Angeles, CA based five-piece consists of current and former members of hardcore/ punk veterans Rise Against (Chris Chasse, guitar), Ignite (Brett Rasmussen, bass/vocals, Nik Hill, guitar/vocals) and Death By Stereo (Todd Hennig, drums) with Steve Ludwig solidifying the lineup and making his vocal debut. Oakland, CA's NEVER HEALED return with their long-awaited follow up to their LP and split EP with Violent Minds. About a year and a half in the making, this new record features two more HP Lovecraft-influenced, mid-tempo blasts bunctuated by vocalist Casey Watson's unmistakable snarling vocals. This record is nothing short of raw and pissed 90s style hardcore. Combining elements of 90s hardcore and mixing it up with todays modern hardcore sound... these guys have moved beyond what you would expect from their full length. To try and describe what this record is...it's almost impossible, the closest that we could do would to say that it's the grown up child of 108 and early Converge, even then...I don't think that does it justice. Outrage entered the Getaway Group with Jay Maas in March to record 'Broken' and called in the help of some friends to do guest vocals. Pat Flynn (Have Heart), Rory (Soul Control), Chris Martin (Hostage Calm) and even Jay Maas (Defeater), himself to contribute to a record that will be talked about for a long time.
