Black And Blue is a hardcore band from Chicago, IL, with former/current members of Plan Of Attack,
Thought Crusade, and RazorxFade. Their sound takes cues from late-80?s NYHC. They released their
demo in early 2011. Think of Cro-Mags, Agnostic Front.

Brain Slug is a new hardcore band from New York. This demo cassette is a noisy, violent ear-slaughter
filled with angst. The songs are face-paced and energetic with heavier leanings, sort of like SS Decontrol
meets Dr. Know. Highly recommended!

Eleven song demo by this Bremen band. Pissed vocals and a sound influenced by modern hardcore. Singalongs, breakdowns and passion, they're definitely on the right track. Well worth checking out.

This is the second demo from Cologne's Kingdom with a mix of fast forward and groovy mid-tempo Hardcore. While their first demo was way more influenced by late 80's NYHC, these 4 songs remind me of early (!) Justice, Lights Out and Righteous Jams with a rocking edge. Check it out!

A conscious effort to strip away some of the excess layering and extravagance of previous Mentally Challenged releases yields a more direct/hardcore-ish crop of songs. Sure to be as forgotten in due time as groups like Malefice and The Scam (which are passingly comparable to it).

From the label: Words can't describe how good i think this is.Best band i have listened to in years. Melodic
punk not unlike OBSERVERS or NO HOPE FOR THE KIDS or even CRIMINAL DAMAGE,
but with soooo much catchier melodies.Haven't listened to anything else since i discovered
it.Thank you,Robert Collins for putting this on your blog, telling me how great their are and
putting me in contact with their drummer Greg. They are from Oakland and San Francisco
and just played their fifth show ever.Think they will be huuuuge soon & everybody will love
and talk about them.MUST HAVE without ANY doubt.

This upcoming band draws its influences from bands like Crown Of Thornz, Killing Time, No Warning and Breakdown- in other words, heavy NYC hardcore. The lyrics are pretty personal and full of rage, while the artwork looks good, simple in black & white with a nice drawing on the front. Nothing fancy, nice and clear. All in all a promising demo, let's see where they go from here.

This demo Tape is the first output of those 5 guys. Influences from New York bands like Outburst and SFA are combined with influences from 90's bands like Unbroken and Gehenna into their own blend of raw metallic Hardcore delivered with a punk attitude and topped of with lyrics that are about more than backstabbing and friendship.

Eight tracks of fast 80s old school hardcore punk in the vein on Government Issue, Negative Approach and DYS, but there are modern influences (Mental, Justice, Outbrek) as well. In your face and not out to make friends, these tracks remind me of I HATE YOU first and foremost. So of course I like it!

10 tracks head-splitting hardcore from Vienna. Satan is moshing hard to their sound. The cover of the tape is decorated with Franz Fuchs, a well known Viennese disaster initiator. The lyrics deal with misanthropy, world frustration and relationship shit. You should check it out.

This tape, featuring the exact same members of The Repos, pretty much picks up where "Heads and Hearts Explode" left off.
The main difference is that there are a few more slower songs on this than on past Repos releases. However, the original intensity
is still present; the powerful and rapid drumming, the blasting guitar riffs (with a fucking excellent tone), and my personal favorite
part, the menacing vocals. They simply cannot be topped by any other hardcore vocalist. The more and more I listen to this the more it pulls me in.

The new WON'T STEP ASIDE release is out and it's a great 10 song tape called 'Unchanged Warfare'. Hailing from Austria (Vienna style) and these young hardcore kids play metal-free old school hardcore; think a mixture of 80s hardcore with a modern touch. The lyrics deal with everyday life and some social/political topics (anti-war, hate work etc.).
